Izrael is the First Angel of Creation, created by the Almighty before all other creatures. He is the oldest Angel, and First of the Archangels. Izrael is known as the Power of God. He fought alongside God, and clashed with the armies of the Defiant, killing his own brothers and sisters before Michael forced Lucifer out of Heaven. Izrael watched his brother Fall, and knew the war was far from over. Bringing himself before the Lord, Izrael asked to Fall so as to monitor his brother's actions from Earth. God allowed him fall from Grace, but not before blessing him as he fell. Izrael alone is both Heavenly and Fallen, a disguise woven into the fabric of his being as he works to clean up his brother's mess, and deliver God's Judgment, smiting Lucifer from all Creation.
No one knows that Izrael still follows his Heavenly duty, though now Fallen, he is cut off from Heaven. He operates under the radar, and runs a Private Investigation firm in Portland, where he was called by the town's epicenter of growing magical power, and his brother's presence.
Michael is an Archangel, and God's Sword. Lucifer tried to turn his brother Michael against his Heavenly Father, to no avail. Instead, Michael led the armies of the Loyal against Lucifer's gathered Defiant forces, eventually defeating them and forcing them from Heaven. He had felt the darkness growing in Lucifer long before his brother was forced from Heaven, and since his fall, Michael has made it his mission to watch his brother best as he can, so that he can end him once and for all. He sits at God's right hand, and is his Sword, the great protector of humanity, and innocents. He is the Guardian of guardians, including police, and the military.
The Lightbringer, Satan, the Devil. Call him what you want, but it will not change what he is. Once, one of God's greatest creations, an Archangel, Lucifer willfully turned against his Creator. He was the first victim of free will. His curiosity inevitably led to questions and when God did not give him the answers he wanted to hear, Lucifer worked insidiously to turn God's other creations against him. There was a great war in Heaven, and eventually, after a great many losses to both sides, Lucifer was forced from his Heavenly home with his defiant army. Together they were forced into the darkness. Eventually Lucifer led his loyal defiant to the realm of Hell, and made it their new home with him as the rightful king.
With the creation of humanity, Lucifer found a new focus for his fixation with God. He corrupted the souls of God's children before he stole their souls and tortured them, using an archaic magic to transform them into something of his own. And it was he who created Demons. Since then, Lucifer has been terrorizing humanity and having his fun. And he's not done any time soon.
Gabriel is one of the Archangels, and one of the four that remains in heaven. Gabriel is known as the Voice of God, and has always acted as the most important messenger in heaven. They watched Lucifer succumb to free will and turn on their Heavenly Father, and fought valiantly against the Defiant in the war in heaven. Gabriel has always dutifully served the Heavenly Father. Gabriel is one of the oldest and most powerful angels in heaven and has always played an important role in communicating God's divine words to humanity throughout history. Gabriel is one of the few angels that has seen God, making them an angel of presence along with the other Archangels; Izrael, Lucifer, Michael, Raphael, Uriel, and Azrael, - a very high honor. Currently, Gabriel sits to the left of God while Michael sits to the right, communicating the word of God to the other angels in heaven. Together they keep a careful watch on Lucifer, the Fallen and the numerous demons.

Raphael is known as God's Touch, and is another one of the Archangels. Raphael is the Great Healer, performing all manners of healing in the name of the Lord. He is the Guardian of the ill and the poor. He holds great compassion for humanity, and feels heartbreak for his fallen brethren. Raphael is a particular enemy of Lucifer, as he tries greatly to undo his fallen brother's harms. Of all the four archangels still in Heaven, he spends the most time on earth besides Azrael, working against the insidious and nefarious harm Lucifer and his demons' influence holds over humanity.
Uriel is one of the archangels, and the last of the four that remain in Heaven. After Lucifer's fall, Uriel became known as God's Light. He holds a special role within Heaven, and most importantly on earth. Uriel is the Archangel of Salvation, bringing souls before the redeemer. He prepares souls for redemption; first they must acknowledge their sin, repent and then they are ready to find salvation. But when his brother Lucifer was forced to fall after the great war in Heaven, Uriel began to face an internal struggle with his deontological purpose. Ever dutiful, the time he has spent with humanity makes him question if they can truly be redeemed as Lucifer's number of demons only grows, and fewer humans seeks salvation.
Azazel is the Angel of War, or so he was before he fell. He was cast into the wilderness alongside the other defiant, after he fell alongside Lucifer. He's never been one to follow others, per se, and the idea of free will and autonomy just tickled him pink. Azazel's always been one to march to the beat of his own drummer, but just happened to align himself with Lucifer and the defiant. He has a long history struggling with the shackles of God. He taught men the art of warfare, of making swords, knives, shields, and coats of mail, and women the art of deception by ornamenting the body, dyeing the hair, and painting the face and the eyebrows. He also revealed to the people the secrets of witchcraft and corrupted their manners, leading them into wickedness and impurity; until at last he was cast out of Heaven. Since then, he's a constant charming and obnoxious visitor of Lucifer's in Hell, and continues to watch over humanity, teaching them thing they probably shouldn't know. Cocky, arrogant, impulsive, he thinks highly of himself.
Azrael is a unique creature, even among the Archangels. Azrael is the most neutral Angel in creation, similar to the demon of death, Thanatos, both creatures stray far from politics, and are anything but evil, despite their titular roles as the representations of death. For all intents and purposes, she is neither angel, nor fallen, solely focused on her duty to ferry and send souls to the afterlife. While others were fighting in the war of Heaven, Loyal against Defiant, it was Azrael who alone walked the battlefield, and collected the souls of the dead and gave them their eternal peace. She severs the ties between the bodies and the soul, and soothes the dead as they struggle with their new reality. Azrael is also a great fighter and tolerates no injustice against the dead or dying, which she protects ferociously. Currently, she hasn't returned to heaven in millennia, instead eternally walking the surface of the earth, as the Archangel of death, with no interest in returning to heaven.

Naamah is the Angel of pleasure, and though she has come to be known as the Angel of prostitutes, her history is a far more complicated being than that. She fell from Heaven with the defiant, more from curiosity than anything else. God's laws were restrictive as far as the bound of love and pleasure went, and Naamah was a creature of pure, raw emotion. She cares nothing for politics, and didn't even fight in the war of Heaven, instead remaining one of the true neutrals before she decided to fall with those forced from Heaven. It had nothing to do with Lucifer, as she has always had a mind of her own. And with the creation of humanity, Naamah found a place for herself on earth, inspiring diving passion, pleasure and even love. While others vilified her work, her intent has always been pure, and untouched by Lucifer and his malicious intentions.
Samael is the Angel of evil doers and is considered by some an angel of evil, and by others an angel of good, with complicated origins. Once he waged his war on behalf of God, not to punish indiscriminately, but to punish on behalf of God. He performed the Will of God. He is an accuser, seducer and destroyer - and the Wrath of God. With that under his belt, he would hardly be a typical angel. Instead, he is more an enigma than he is anything else. While he is a fallen, only because he was awakened by Lucifer, it does not mean he is still aligned with the Light Bringer. He mostly keeps to himself, and suffers from an inner darkness others cannot understand, as the Wrath of God, a rarity, and a terrifying enigma none can place their finger on.
Mastema is the Angel of hostility and strength, she is also the Angel of persecution. She's never had anything else to do with the other Fallen, thinking them weak, senseless beings, easy prey to Lucifer's manipulations. She has always possessed a fondness for warriors, and over the years developed a deep respect for the reapers, even though they are not human. When God was ready to destroy all the demons after the flood, Mastema intervened. Mastema is the tester of humans, with God's permission. since then, Mastema has been working hard, testing the strength of humanity, and under Lucifer's influence, finding it lacking...
The angel price of fire, Jehoel has a larger part in world politics than most would imagine. He has a rightful place in heaven but spends most of his time on earth.
Many millennia ago, he was approached by a dragon with a request - stop the impending extinction of the phoenixes. Their efforts combined gave the phoenixes a human form and a sanctuary. As the prince of fire, he is dubbed the unofficial guardian of the race along with his draconian associate - Sentinel.
Jehoel now serves as the second in command to the Sentinels, an exclusive organization devoted to keeping the peace between the different species. He is well liked by those within its ranks as a refreshing counter to the stubborn Sentinel.
Lilith, she is the first demon created by Lucifer. She was also the second human created by God. An inherently curious thing, free will was her downfall as much as it was Lucifer's. It didn't take much on his part to tempt her and when God saw what had happened, he cast her from the garden of Eden and then created a new wife for Adam - Eve, the Mother of humans. After Lucifer brought her to hell, he reveled in the torture of her soul until he made her into his own child. His First demon. with a deep hatred of humanity and an insatiable hunger for knowledge, she quickly rose to a seat of power in Hell. She became the Mother of demons, helping Lucifer create hordes of his creations, enough to rival the armies of heaven. Beautiful, cunning, seductive, ruthless, she helps Lucifer run his nightmarish not so little kingdom. Lilith most certainly is the Queen of Hell.
Abaddon has an interesting origin story. He is the second demon created, and therefore one of the oldest being in Hell. He is incredibly powerful and arguably a demon unlike any other. A man's soul was in the hands of the exquisite and excruciating torture of Lucifer when an ancient spirit, a malevolent thing born of chaos and destruction, possessed the very soul in Lucifer's artful hands. and with that, it transformed into something even Lucifer could not have expected. The demon Abaddon was born. While he tolerates Lucifer, even the king of hell is wary of this particular creation. Abaddon literally feeds off of chaos and destruction, without it he goes....well a little mad. Not only is he the feared demon of chaos and destruction, he is the Father of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. He currently watches over his sons and daughters, feeding off of the chaos they create and continues to be an enigma in hell.
This is the demon Paimon, and is a loyal follower of Lucifer. He acts as an adviser to Lucifer, and holds his master's secrets. Paimon holds great sway over the demons and is the demon of secrets. If you've got one, he knows it. No use trying to hide it or cry about it. He is also the great teacher of art, philosophy, sciences and mysteries. Currently, he spends a great deal of his time on earth, hoarding the secrets of men, using them against each other to corrupt humanity. Although he has little patience for Jezebeth, often finds himself closely tied to her, as secrets are intricately tied to lies and falsehoods.
Jezebeth is a particularly nasty demon (really, who isn't?). Once a human, she has no recollection of that human life. All she remembers is the birth of her demon life. Pain. Excessive amounts of it. And so her life as a demon began. She was well suited to her role as the demoness of falsehood and lies, insidious and deadly, and she quickly made a name for herself in hell. Jezebeth cannot even count the number of souls she corrupts and sends to hell, but Lucifer is impressed, which is hardly easy. Despite the subtlety of her demonic powers and ways, she's the opposite: loud, in your face and demands attention. Currently, when she's not corrupting souls for Lucifer, she performs at his earthly club, Le Cirque du Diable, in Portland, as an unforgettable headlining act.

Mammon is the demon of greed, so perfectly demonic that even he falls prey to his own greed. He is king of the crossroad demons. Long since unsatisfied with his position within hell, Mammon began to orchestrate a plan to unseat Lucifer, take over and remake hell in his own image. A great student of magics, he realized he could do it and become the King of hell, putting a true demon on the throne, in his rightful place. Over a span of two years, over 23 years ago, Mammon found the infant children of 13 spellcaster families. Not long after the birth of each of those children, he fed them each his own blood, his demonic blood altering the course of their developing magic. He plans to use these grown children in a ritual sacrifice, and channel their power into his prized weapon to bring down the walls of Creation. Mammon has kept his nefarious plans to himself, and thinks Lucifer a fool.
Hekate is no ordinary demon. She was originally a spellcaster. powerful, cunning and ambitious, nothing would stop her from her lofty goals. She prided herself in her deceit. Named after the goddess of witches, in her spellcaster life, she met a crossroads demon and crafty as the demon was, the spellcaster was craftier. She tricked him into a bargain for her soul that left her as a demon with powerful magic and arcane knowledge unlike that of other demon except for those of the highest order. It was through this understanding of the arcane and pursuit of magic in its purest form that led Hekate to the dragons.
She is the demon who allied herself with the Great Betrayer, Redvayne, playing and preying on his insecurities, fear, and hatred. Hekate wanted the power that the destruction of the dragons, filtering their pure magic, would bring her. She had no compunction about destroying a mythical species, her eyes ultimately on the prize. The last Draconis Rex, dragon magic would begin and end with the last dragon born. In a blood oath, she had tied herself to the egg, swearing to the Redvayne she would protect the child with all at her disposal. As is the case with magic, the time revealed itself to Hekate in the form of a powerful vision, and while the remaining dragons are subsequently hunted and destroyed, she waited until she was called to action. Magic called to her to awaken the last dragon. Using her magic, she unspelled the egg, and laid the scaled thing in a fiery pit until at last the thing hatched. Clutching it, she stared into the sky blue eyes of the future of magic.
Sonneillon is the demon of hatred, and the embodiment of his role, he bestows courage and confidence but instill tendrils of anger, of hatred. Insidious at first, until it grows and consumes to black out rage. All he has to is plant a simple seed, sow a little doubt; and humanity falls to their weakness. Then all he has to do is sit back and enjoy it. With his personality, you'd hardly believe he is the demon of hatred, he's near gleeful at times, but don't let that fool you. Sonneillon is a deviously dark little demon.
Cain is the very first vampire and the father of the species. Once a demon, Cain became a vampire when he tried bargaining for a spellcaster's soul. When he wouldn't take no for an answer, he succumbed to darker instincts and attacked the spellcaster. She fought to defend herself, calling upon magic she didn't understand and couldn't control. Her spell awoke an insatiable beast within Cain and he attacked her, succumbing to bloodlust. His bite, her blood, the magic coursing between the two of them tied them together eternally through blood magic. With that one simple act; a new species was born.
He was forever changed; subject to overwhelming emotions and insatiable hunger. He had become a new apex predator. He inherited powers that bespoke his new nature. He was no longer a child of Hell, but now a child of the Night. The first vampire was born. As the years unfolded, his obsession with the spellcaster that had cursed him grew. He made it his sole mission to find a way back to being a demon.
Eventually he began to turn those he fed upon, determined to make an army of his own kind. After the creation of his first children, the numbers began to grow and the spellcasters took notice, and created the Darak. In response, Cain headed the creation of the vampire council to monitor and control the growing numbers of his children.
Even so, his obsession with returning to his rightful demonhood has never left his thoughts. He's wholly determined to turn himself back into a demon, to take back what is rightfully his, and make those that changed him pay. .

Cain's first child was a woman that he was fascinated with not out of love or lust but out of fascination with her madness. This daughter’s name was Bahu Gula, and she was born in ancient Mesopotamia almost four thousand years ago. Together, the two began to spread the legends of vampires across the world, and from these legends came the first hunters. It was this danger that motivated Cain to turn another so that his child could have a proper protector. Cain traveled the world looking for a suitable protector and eventually found Amunet.
Amunet has always been a fierce warrior, self-reliant, and loyal. Caine was not interested in Amunet’s choice in the matter; he turned her without ever asking for permission and from the moment she began her vampiric life she was put into service as Bahu Gula’s protector and shadow, a role that Amunet begrudgingly accepted given that the alternative was death and she had done so much in life to stave off death that she would not give up on this eternal life.
For centuries Amunet followed Caine and Bahu Gula. She was not treated unfairly, but she did not delight in slaughtering humans like they did. Amunet preferred a more even fight and rarely killed unless necessary. Where they massacred, she followed, until Cain found his new child: Zahara.
Centuries went by without issue, until Bahu Gula was killed by her child: Naiara Osane. Cain became furious at Amunet for failing in her duties as Bahu Gula’s protector. The council was formed by the members of the family, however, Amunet was banished into exile, and for centuries Amunet wandered the globe, siring a few children here and there.
Whilst helping against the viking invaders that had come to Ireland, Amunet once again encountered Naiara. It was at this point that Amunet approached her family for the first time in centuries to give them news of Naiara’s actions. The pain of loss dulled by time, Cain allowed Amunet to join the council, though there was no denying a rift still existed between Amunet and her family.
Amunet acts as the council’s recon. Being the oldest living child, she is more powerful than any other. This, combined with her almost universal neutrality provides the council with trusted information for making their decisions. Even more recently, Amunet has regained some of Cain's trust as she has done a fair share reconnaissance to find the answer to his problem, a task hidden from the other members of the council.
Zahara is the favorite child of Cain, the most humane of the Ancients. Cain turned Zahara in the Indus Valley 3,000 years ago. He was drawn to her compassion, love of others, and tender heart. Zahara worked as a healer, working closely with the impoverished and destitute. She served any who had need of her services. Cain wondered how his darkness would touch her, and change the light within her. His bite was the beginning of a long, very close, yet extremely complicated relationship. Zahara has stuck by Cain through thick and thin, for better or worse. Her loyalty to him makes her indispensable.
Zahara has changed greatly over her millennia with Cain (and the other members of the first generation). When she first became a vampire, Zahara became more vindictive, spiteful, and vengeful. Over time, she reclaimed her humanity. She has grown and matured, returning to the caring person she once was; someone who isn't prone to violence or killing unless she feels she must only as a last resort. When her emotions get the better of her, she can regress to her bad behavior.
She is the vampire closest to Cain and can ground him (and challenge him) as others cannot. She is brutally honest, stands up to Cain, greatly in touch with her humanity, something he both admires and loathes. She is clever and sharp witted, and still has a desire to be the human girl she once was, vulnerabilities and all. But don't let that fool you. She possesses a quiet ferocity.
Where Cain goes, she follows. For now.
Aether is the first of Cain's sons. He was originally a son of a roman senator, close to the power source of the Roman republic, born in the wake of Roman completion of occupation of the Italian peninsula. His earliest childhood memories are those of the first Punic war (1st war with Carthage). Born into wealth and privilege, he was educated as his father before him, expected to take his seat in the senate. Trained in philosophy as much as he was trained in arms and battle tactics, he lived a life of extreme leisure. he was cunning, ambitious, and entitled.. a promising young politico; charming, manipulative, arrogant and deceptively dangerous. he was irresponsible at times, and lived reckless with little care for consequence. Cain saw him as a worthy means to an end; Aether was his entrance into the political powerhouse the growing roman empire.
Cain took a risk and changed the young man. the turn was violent to say the least, leaving carnage in its wake but ultimately Cain (and his three daughters) taught Aether control of the monster within. through his transformation, Aether's personality only became heightened and he became ultimately a darker version of himself, Zahara he's kept his humanity turned off. and killing comes easily to him. he was one of the reasons the vampire council was created.
He has a volatile relationship with his maker and is undoubtedly the odd one out of the first generation. He is always up to his own schemes. He is the only one that has fixated on Cain's obsession with the spellcasters, becoming a demon once more, and is determined to get to the bottom of the issue, resolving to find the answer and to use it for his own means. It won't be as easy as he thinks.
Born almost a hundred years after his brother Aether, Yaroah was born in the city of Carthage, trained as a warrior. His training later served him as he fought to defend his home against the Roman hordes, who fought the city, determined to sack and destroy Carthage. Both Cain and Aether fought against the Carthaginians, stumbling across Yaroah.
Eventually the Carthaginians surrendered and Cain, with Aether by his side took the surviving Yaroah as their slave before helping to level the city he called home. He hated these men more for the destruction of his home than his own enslavement. He fought them at every turn, ever the warrior. That was before he learned what monsters they really were. What he didn't know was that Cain had captured his family as well. cain gave him a choice; either he could join Cain and Aether, becoming a monster like them, and his family could go free (on the condition he never see them again). or they could all die. Yaroah saw no choice and agreed to become a monster.
Yaroah never wanted to be a vampire and still struggles with it in many ways. as laid-back, exceedingly cool as he seems, he's subject to the menacing violence of his vampirism, which he struggles to fight. he's a self loathing vampire and his brother Aether has no compunctions about calling him weak, but it may very well be Yaroah who will discover Aether's plans.

Caellach is the final son of Cain, and the darkest and most disturbed of the "family". He was born in Briton after the Roman invasion beginning in 55 BCE. A celt living under the celtic chieftains who battled each other fiercely for generations, battle was the life he knew and the young celt always had a taste for blood, long before her became a vampire. There were no towns, only small villages and hilltop fortifications. It was this world that was invaded by the Romans and their general Caesar as he moved to claim Briton for the empire, but the Britons fought bravely against the invading hordes. It was nearly a hundred years after the first invasion, when Claudius and his four legions attacked Caellach's people and he fought, brutally.
He was like a beserker. But Caellach did not only kill his Roman enemies. Like many of his kind, he chopped off the heads of his enemies. He mutilated their corpses; enacting his own revenge upon them. It was this behavior that first drew Cain to him, curious about the dark passenger that resided within the otherwise quiet and unremarkable man. Cain watched him from the shadows for weeks before he decided to turn him.
Caellach's transformation only made his inner monster more easily accessible. And it justified the frequency and severity of his horrors. As the council was formed; Caellach became the Boogey Man, the one meting out the council's punishment. And painfully so.
Naiara Osane started life as an innocent human girl living in a small Iberian village during the Cantabrian Wars and Roman invasion. The child of a clansmen priest, she watched her people fight against the Romans. At the age of 15, her father prepared to sacrifice Naiara to the Cantabrian War God, before she was found by a Goddess of the Night.
Bahu Gula, the first of Cain's children found her and claimed her as her own. Bahu Gula was mad long before Cain turned her and with her transformation her madness only grew. In her madness, she saw the human daughter she had lost millennia ago within the eyes of the human Naiara. And Bahu Gula turned her to save her. Naiara's life changed first with her turn and then with her centuries under the mad guidance of her dark "mother". Slowly the innocent girl became as mad as her maker; sadistic, cruel, calculating and impulsive. A dangerous wild card, she eventually killed her own maker, the only member of the first generation that's ever been killed, forcing Cain himself to unite the First Generation and form the Council of Ancients.
It is one of the reasons the vampire council followed the Red Queen and her seethe to their home in Portland, or so she believes. Naiara only follows the rules she wants to and makes up her own. Her vampires are as loyal to her as they are terrified of her. She keeps company with some demons and fallen angels. And has every intention of taking over the city. All in due time.
Recently arrived in the city, Naiara's seethe slaughtered the notorious vampire nest that occupied the city before her, laying waste to their peoples before claiming the city as hers. She's yet to cross paths with her old enemies, the Farkas pack, the very werewolf pack she brutally forced from their home millennia earlier.
Astaroth is the daughter of Lucifer and Lilith. She possesses both the best and worst qualities of her parentage. She is a succubus, a temptress and a seducer. No one can resist her temptations. She is not only a succubus, she is the demoness of accusers and inquisitors. As a succubus, she feeds off of sexual energy and desire. She can bring fantasy to life. She also holds the power to manipulate pheromones. Astaroth has always fancied herself the princess of Hell and is often vying for daddy's attention. Manipulative and conniving, he's a powerful high ranking demon.

Raised in the Norse wilderness, on ancient pack land, Fenrir is a born werewolf. After a brutal war with Osane Seethe that nearly decimated the pack, and killed Fenrir's father, the Alpha, Fenrir tried to recover from its tragic losses and rebuild, traveling by sea and land to the Pacific Northwest. The pack settled and built their homestead.
Fenrir's brother, the second beta at the time, Thorulf, grew further from his elder brother as Fenrir was declared alpha in his father's stead. Fenrir was much like his father before him, just, fierce and proud. Most of his pack loved him, but his brother Thorulf felt betrayed by his brother's ascension to alpha, and demanded a fight for the right to the alpha spot. Fenrir refused to fight his brother, and when he turned his back Thorulf attacked him. The fight was brutal, bloody and frenzied, a battle between the two greatest warriors in the pack. Eventually, Fenrir got the upper hand but showed his brother Thorulf mercy, letting him live. Thorulf was driven from the pack, and over the last one hundred years has been biding his time, building his own pack, and has set his sights on Fenrir's pack as his enemy.
Fenrir has done the best he can for his pack, and still hopes to unite his pack with his brother's as he is a forgiving and just man. Protective, loyal and stoic, he was gifted with a blessing twenty six years ago, as the Seelie queen, Titania brought him an infant for safekeeping. The babe was the offspring of Morgana Le Fay and Merlin, and the queen was punishing Merlin for teaching Morgana forbidden magics and betraying his court. Fenrir became a father to a beautiful little banshee-necromancer halfling, raising Rowam among the pack, as his own daughter. What he doesn't know is that his brother Thorulf has set his sights on the girl as the means to his revenge.
Not only is he the pack Alpha, he is also head of the Portland Police Department's homicide division. He's a diligent, hard working wolf hound who always gets his man. He tolerates no injustice, inside or outside of the pack. He is well loved and respected by the Farkas pack.
He is the current beta of the Farkas pack, and inherently loyal to both his Alpha, his pack and his two sisters. He attained his position in the pack when his father was murdered by the cousin of Darak that he and his sisters, grew up with - the Graysons. Long before his father's death, he had never trusted the Darak. With the news of his father's murder, he led the charge in breaking the alliance with the Grayson Darak.
He is a responsible and broodingly quiet beta, but he does what is asked of him without question. He is overprotective of his two younger sisters, as well as the whole pack. Cross him at your own peril. He closely watches over all members of the Farkas pack, especially his two trouble making sisters. After the Alpha, he is the one in charge of the Farkas pack, and is an incomparable adviser to Fenrir. There is no one else the pack trusts more other than the Alpha. He is the one person with the most influence over the Alpha. Like him, his sisters and many of the other members of the pack, he is a born wolf. He is notoriously intimidating, gruff and takes no bullshit, but under his tough exterior, he has much to offer. He is not a man of many words, but actions speak louder than words with him.
Xuan has long been considered the Farkas Pack's resident 'Mother'. Ironically, she was once was a Darak, one who hunted the very creature she became. But after she was bitten, her people abandoned her, turning on her, and it was ultimately an Alpha, Fenrir, that risked taking her in after saving her life. It proved to be a decision that ended up rewarding the whole pack as Xuan's loyalties shifted, seeing a different side to those she had spent a lifetime hunting. Her first century with the pack was spent as an enforcer, but she retired from that position and acting instead as adviser to Fenrir, helping settle disputes, and taking new members, and most importantly, new wolves, under her wing. A retired soldier, Xuan is still one of the most skilled fighters among the pack, though her role has changed.
Once a new bitten wolf, before the Alpha found him and trusted his werewolf education to Conall's father. It's as if history is repeating itself. An empathetic but strong and stoic wolf and man in his own right, he has long since learned control and works diligently alongside Conall to help the members of the pack. Some members of the pack thought he might become beta in the wake of Conall's father's murder, climbing the ranks quickly, taking care of the other members of the pack, but he was overlooked for the position. He's not angry about the decision, instead acting as a close third in the pack, supporting his alpha, Fenrir, and beta, Conall.

Thorulf is much the opposite of his brother Fenrir. Thorulf or Thor as those within the Volk pack know him is a shrewd, callous, Machiavellian beast of a creature, both man and wolf. Long before the war with the Osane seethe, Thor felt overlooked by his father, the great Alpha, Connor Lovell. His brother was the shining son, and the apple of his father's eye. From an early age Thorulf felt under appreciated and undervalued, he was a great fighter and a true wolf, but still he stood in the shadow of Fenrir. It was only in the light of the war and his father's death, when his brother was chosen as Alpha that the green eyed monster within Thorulf consumed him. In front of the broken pack, he demanded a fight for the right as Alpha. Fenrir refused to fight his brother and turned his back. Enraged, Thorulf attacked. It was hard to tell who would win the fight, but eventually, Fenrir got the the upper hand, choosing to show him mercy, Thorulf was driven from the pack. A few pack members claimed allegiance to him, inevitably sparking the creation of a separate pack - the Volk pack.
Thorulf eventually returned to the Pacific Northwest with his own growing pack, claiming an uneasy treaty with his brother, a cleverly veiled lie preying on his brother's sense of diplomacy and foolish hope. For the last twenty six years, Thorulf has been watching his brother and his adopted daughter, Rowan, closely; an unthinkable idea forming in the recesses of his dark mind as he fixated on the girl. Thorulf is just waiting for the right time to strike. And with Rowan recently returned home after finishing medical school, what better time is there than now? ((Due to nature of the character,, please pm Teal if interested.))
This woman has been at Thorulf's side since he was forced from the Lovell pack a millennia ago, in the wake of the war with the Osane seethe. She followed him, truly believing in his leadership qualities, always thinking Fenrir to be too soft and weak. Dunstan was born in France over nine centuries ago, but always had an insatiable wild heart and adventurous spirit, bringing her to the new world under deadly and mysterious circumstances. When she met Thorulf all those centuries ago, he was drawn to her. Not as a mate of the true variety, instead to drawn to her cunning and ruthlessness that rivaled his own. She is as exacting and vengeful as he is, with a disturbingly dark streak of her own. He was amused by her, and the two fell into bed long, long ago. Although they share a mutual respect for one another, she has her own ambitions as well. She is not above seeing harm befall him so she can claim the Volk pack for he own. Dunstan is seductive, astute, calculating and just one mean, smart, bitch.
Booth has been with the pack for the last four centuries. While Booth is frequently playful and charming, he is also a ruthless son of a bitch, a man with blood on his hands. Born, bitten, it doesn't matter. He is a born fighter, always has been, it's how he earned his way into the coveted beta slot. Booth has a dark streak and a habit of violence. Booth is also hedonistic, and a little reckless, but when need be, he puts his beta duties first.
Dubois was born in New Orleans, Louisiana a few years after the Louisiana Purchase. Raised in the growing port-city, Dubois used her intelligence, charm and numerous assets to climb the ranks of city's growing high society. Eventually, she made a name for herself as an art thief. Her beauty knows no bounds, and neither does her cunning. She fits right at home with the Volk pack, but is less interested in pack politics than she is the finer things.

Lane is a legacy among hunters, one of the sons from the great and revered Lane family. The Lanes are one of the oldest and most well known Darak legacies in the community. They existed before histories were written and have been protecting humanity for as long as they have been in operation. The family name is enough to send even the biggest baddies running in the opposite direction. Over his life, Lane has welcomed other Darak to join him as he works to protect the innocents he shares his city with. He is the leader of an organization of Darak in the city. While not the spring chicken he used to be, he is more than capable in a fight. Lane keeps close tabs on the members of his eclectic group of hunters. Raised as only the most recent member of the legacy, he has imparted his family's code upon his Darak. Lane only kills those that hurt the innocent, he doesn't kill indiscriminately like the rogue Darak. He knows Murtagh is keeping tabs on him and suspects that he even has a mole within lane's ranks; he just doesn't know who it is. Lane keeps the faith and diligently works to follow his code..
This is the brains, the power, the what have you behind the operation. She has considerable wealth from a deceased relative, and puts it all to good use funding the mission of the rogue Darak: eliminate all supernaturals. Period. Murtagh has housed her assortment of rogue hunters in an abandoned ghoulish looking mansion just outside of Portland. She is not someone to be trifled with; cunning, cold, ruthless. Murtagh has the ability to read weaknesses in people, and use them to her advantage, turning enemies into allies. She has some history with the head of the other Darak in the city, Lane, and it’s hardly a good one. But she thinks Lane is weak, and is set on setting those in his own ranks against him, to increase her own numbers in her war against the abominations that roam this earth. Not only is she brilliantly manipulative and charming (when it suits her), she’s a wickedly skilled fighter, and expects the same from those who take orders from her.
Xiomara De Alavarado is the daughter of the oldest line of Darak in the Americas, descendant of Spanish conquistadors and indigenous Americans. Born into the Alavarado Cabal, in Merida, Mexico, De Alavarado was raised on weapons, training and the code of Old Order of the Darak; kill them all. Not only are the De Alvarado the oldest line of the Darak in the Americas, they are also a notorious crime syndicate who have run an arms ring for the last several decades, their territory stretching from Oaxaca, Mexico to Honduras and even into El Salvador. Her father was murdered before she was born, attacked and killed by a werewolf. She was raised alongside her brother, coldblooded and merciless, she easily proved to be the top of the young Daraks. She worked hard to earn the respect of her grandfather, the head of the cabal and Darak hive, who selected her as his successor over his 'grandson' Iago, on his death bed. She's been running the Cabal since. With the recent surge in magic, she's brought some of her best hunters with her to support the Murtaghs, and the Old Order, and stopping the problem and its source.
Steele is the Mayor of the city of Portland. He has lived in the city his whole life, and comes from a family well versed in the Supernatural despite the family's human origins. The Steeles have a long history of leading the human faction against the supernatural and have long served the city as guardians of humanity. Like his family before him, Steele keeps a watchful eye over the city, determined to keep it safe, especially now that the ley lines are pouring power and magic is awakening as never before. Despite his diplomatic airs for the public, Steele despises and distrusts anything supernatural. And will go to extreme lengths to cover up any sign of them in his city, to keep the humans in the dark for their own safety.
Centuries ago, Morgana met a Seelie fae, the Trickster, Merlin, and the two fell hopelessly in love. He shared faerie magic with her and taught her faerie magic no non-fae should know nor be able to wield. The spellcaster had hidden her pregnancy and when Merlin discovered the existence of his daughter, he spelled her memory in revenge. Morgana has no idea her daughter exists, but magic, memory and fate are fickle things. What will happen when the memories of her daughter return? What will she do to the man she once loved to the depths of her soul when she discovers he cruelly stole her child from her?

Bayard joined the high coven over three centuries ago. She tends to be the more lenient of the coven members, being less prone to administer punishment than some of the high coven members. She wants to use magic to help others, and is considered the heart of the high coven.

Unbeknownst to her, her people were betrayed by one of their kind, Redvayne, and hunted down for their magical properties their parts hold. She was placed in the hands of the demon, Hekate, that made the bargain with the Great Betrayer and after 1,000 years, was released from her magical hold and hatched. The girl was spelled into her human form and raised a human with no knowledge of the supernatural. Unaware of what she is, on the eve of her 30th birthday she transformed as she reached full maturity, and her dragonmark, a scale like tattoo appeared, marking the beginning of change for the young dragon.
And all of the world alongside her. With the maturation of the Draconis Rex, the ley lines of Portland have flooded with magic, and it is seeping into the city, unbeknownst to her though she feels things have shifted. Now it is only a question of who get the wild magic first...
Redvayne, the Great Betrayer, was never happy with his station in life as he and his brother were born into the soldier class of dragons. Fiercely independent and strong willed, Sentinel left the dragonrealm long before the mass extinction. He never wanted to be a leader but when there was no one left to take on the mantle, he stepped in.
Sentinel is the sole reason for the survival of the phoenix race. Together with the angel Jehoel, he gave them a human form and taught them how to survive. Through the ages, many phoenixes have stayed with him and they now have a new mission: preserve the peace between each species: one way or another.
The dragon himself is known for being extremely stubborn and oftentimes stuck in the ways of the past. To most, Sentinel is gruff and cold but extremely wise. To the few that he trusts, he reveals a wicked sense of humor.
Sheehan is one of the rare and priceless unicorns, notorious for their shyness. She owns a well loved bookstore in town and generally keeps to herself, staying as far away from the local supernatural politics as she can. Sheehan's worried about the safety of her kind with magic pouring from the ley lines, and has offered sanctuary to any unicorns in the coming storm. Kind, and reserved, Sheehan is a quite moralistic woman who likes to avoid trouble, but not afraid to fight for what she believes in.
One of the first phoenixes saved by Sentinel and Jehoel, Haneul stands alongside them as part of the leadership. He has always been bitter about the ancient humans' treatment of him and his kind but constant counsel has helped him to hold back his hatred for the entire race. Haneul is a particularly gifted wielder of fire. His acknowledgement sees that he is often solitary and reclusive due to the turmoil in his soul. Though he is lonely, he would rather subject himself to that torment than hurt another being without provocation and live with more of that guilt. The heavens know it wouldn't be the first time it's happened.
Titania is the Seelie queen, fair, just and eternally beautiful, she embodies the radiant glory of her court. She is a powerful and ancient Fae and the opposite of the Unseelie queen, Mab. She has the highest of expectations of her court, and maintains the traditional practices that the Seelie are known for. Unlike Mab, she is a fair ruler. Titania was the one that forced Merlin from the Seelie court when he taught Morgana Le Fay forbidden fae magic. She was also the one to take his infant, Rowan Carling, from him, the same as he stole the babe from her mother, spelling Merlin as he had spelled Morgana, and hiding the infant with the Alpha of a trusted werewolf pack, the Farkas, to raise as his own. She continues to keep close tabs on Merlin, knowing his trickery all too well.
Queen Mab is a notorious figure both in and out of faerie. She rules her court with an iron fist, ruthless, cunning, and cold. She can dance through political mazes in her sleep, and execute those who cross her without batting an eyelid. Mab is the opposite Titania and holds little respect for the other faerie queen. She would happily unite both courts - with her as the one queen. She's a devious woman, and knows all about Merlin and Iridessa's transgressions. She intends to use them, and more importantly their offspring, as political leverage. She is also the proud mother of her own full blooded Unseelie Sidhe son, a royal bastard named Aster, another pawn in her political games.
The son of Titania and the King of Summer, Oberon, the Crown prince of the Seelie Fae, Orin is a well loved and respected Sidhe. Though his mother Titania rules the Seelie, he sits at her right hand, while his brother Cadeyrn leads the Seelie forces. Confident, judicious, level headed and bold he is well suited as heir to the Seelie throne. Orin also carefully watches the machinations of the Unseelie court, seeing through Mab's intentions and waiting for her to act to unite the courts.
The second son of Oberon and Titania, Cadeyrn, is the other Seelie Prince, and son of Summer. The younger brother of Orin, Cadeyrn still holds a grudge for the death of his father's death at the hands of the Unseelie centuries earlier. Irreverent, moody, he is known as intelligent, and has a habit of getting under peoples skin.
Though he has heard rumors of the disappearance of the Winter Court heir, he knows nothing about the truth of Iridessa's disappearance, only that his daughter has disappeared with her.

Aster is the full-blooded son of Queen Mab, but denied the Crown to the Night Court as a bastard. He is equally as calculating and deceptive as his mother, and readily accepted when she demanded he travel to the world of men to find the child of Iridessa and Cadeyrn; a full blooded Sidhe born of both courts, bring her back and deliver her to his mother in the Unseelie court. But his real sights are set on his runaway cousin, the Unseelie Crown princess.
Aster is not simply the Unseelie Queen's son, he is also the King of the Sluagh, the Wild Hunt. He is the 'general of the fae army', the collective destructive forces of the Fae spirits that the Unseelie court have wielded for millennia. Despite his origins, he is accustomed to power, has a nasty habit of getting what he wants, and will use force if necessary.
Iridessa is the unfortunate soul born with a target on her back, the Unseelie Crown Princess of the Winter fae. Born into House Dalgaard, she is the fullblooded daughter of Mab's brother, Riagán, and a princess from House Thàsa, a noble House of the Winter fae. The heir apparent, she was raised under Mab's direction, always under the surveillance of the Queen's spies, groomed for the throne. Unlike her aunt and cousin, Iridessa always opposed their antiquated ideologies and separatist values, preferring to live in diverse world. She is the thorn in her aunt's side, but a necessary evil to maintaining claim on the throne through ascendancy rights.
After discovering a pregnancy with the second son of Titania, the Seelie prince Cadeyrn, worried for her child, a child directly descended from both Seelie and Unseelie bloodlines, the most taboo crime in her aunt's eyes, Iridessa escaped the realm of the Unseelie. Living on the run, she stayed ahead of Mab for seven years until she and her daughter were finally captured by the queen. Since then, Iridessa has been in Mab's dungeons, waiting for her release.
Though she does not hail from the line that currently rules the throne, Chun-Tao is yet another of the Seelie fae royals, princess of the Spring Sidhe. The embodiment of spring in many ways, she is vibrant and youthful, and many in the court have over looked the young princess as she navigates the courts politics. She is far more clever than she looks and shouldn't be underestimated by the other courtiers.
The prince of the Autumn fae, he is a renowned hunter, and the guardian of the entrance to the Wyldwood, the neutral territory that is the oldest forest in the fae realms. Sorrell has no interest in the petty court politics, preferring the wilderness to the opulent courts.

Merlin. What is there to say about the Trickster? Merlin was originally a member of the Seelie court, but after he taught his lover Morgana Le Faye forbidden Fae magic, Titania forced him from the shining court. He blamed Morgana, but felt compelled to return to her, again and again and again throughout the centuries. Only twenty seven years earlier did they meet again, this time, two creatures creating their own life; a baby. Morgana hid the pregnancy from Merlin until their child, a daughter was born, and upon her birth, blood called to his blood, and the ancient trickster learned the truth. Furious, he spelled the woman he's still infatuated with, stealing the child and Morgana's memories of her away with him, as punishment for her deception. When Titania discovered his newest trickery, she had the baby taken from him, and his own memories spelled as well. Punishment begets punishment. To keep the child, Rowan, safe, Titania placed her with the werewolf Alpha Fenrir Lovell. What will he do when he discovers the truth?

Carling knows nothing of her origin as the Daughter of Death, the child of Morgana Le Faye and Merlin, or the lengths that certain factions have gone to to keep her whereabouts hidden.
